The aim of this analysis, is to understand the various factors, elements and senses that help us define our own domain.

This analysis investigates the meaning of boundaries and edges as perceived by our senses.

Hidden and unnoticed systems are brought into light, which link back to the behaviour of movement as well as the perception of edges and boundaries.

3 different sites are selected as they represent the changing conditions of sound in Lund. 3 distinct sound sources, related to the activity taking place, are used to measure the porosity of sound in that specific environment. Assuming and projecting the previously defined boundaries into physical volumes, we are able to visualise the experience of sound, simulating a different spatial experience usually unnoticed and unrecognised.
